Join the Dancers of Damelahamid for a dance workshop in the ArtSpring theatre. Through the Coastal First Nations dance form and sharing of song and story, participants will engage in the shared experience of dance in community.
The Dancers of Damelahamid is a professional Aboriginal dance company from the northwest coast of British Columbia. Through dramatic dance, captivating narrative, intricately carved masks and elaborate regalia the Dancers of Damelahamid transform time and space, and bridge the ancient with a living tradition. The company performs Spirit Transforming in the ArtSpring theatre on October 30th at 7:30pm.
*This workshop is open to adults, teens and children ages 7+.
