Chantal will be showcasing a new series of water color & screen prints on canvas and a variety of textile product prototypes she designed this year. She will be printing on site and inviting you to try screen printing yourself.
Chantal Solomon “Chanterelle” is a whimsical producer of objects & experiences. She was born in Vancouver BC and now creates in both her private studio & the Waichay Studio in Courtenay, BC. Chantal is a proud art school drop out whom found it more inspiring to study with professionals in her fields of interest. She has apprenticed with several talented mentors in multiple mediums whom continue to motivate her career.
Chantal is passionate about communicating via screen printed textiles, film, spoken & written word. She in an award winning film maker and her screen printed work has been shown at the Comox Valley Art Galley & The Courtenay District Museum & Archives. Her creations are strongly influenced by her study of Herbal Medicine and meditation.
