Art Show Fundraiser--Featuring Local and Student Artists

Come for a night of homemade desserts, live music and art for viewing and purchase created by local and student artists.
The fundraiser is being held so that the Honeymoon Bay Retreat can continue supporting Front Line Youth Workers who are in need of rest and renewal across Canada. Youth for Christ Canada has over 800 staff working with thousands of at-risk youth to provide them safe places to learn, grow and love others as well as themselves. The cost to this ministry that the workers provide, is a widespread burnout of those involved with working with the youth.
The Honeymoon Bay Retreat is committed to providing 5 day long retreats for these youth workers in order to ensure staff resiliency and to reduce burnout while rejuvenating mind and spirit. Offering a place of rest and renewal for these workers has demonstrated monumental changes in the lives of those on the front lines.
The Art show funds help us to continue supporting these workers retreat throughout the year.
The evening will feature live music from a local Cowichan Valley Student, Art for purchase, silent Auction items and a door prize raffle for those who make a donation.
