Wine & Cheese Art Opening 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Time To Heal (Free event) Musical event by German duo D'Accord to follow 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm- tickets are available at Time To Heal https://www.facebook.com/events/919263251447491/ I have been creatively inspired and ignited since childhood, although it has only been since moving to Vancouver Island, that I now allow myself to openly express this hidden passion. I trust that what manifests from my imagination onto canvas or paper, through fabric, wool knotting and photography, are universal themes.

These are generally archetypical, stark and colorful, which serve as reminders to “self” throughout my personal healing journey in balance and positive development. I make use of whatever it takes to satiate my desire for creative expression. Using fingers, crayons, colored pencils, pen, ink, wax, brushes, water colour, acrylic & oil paints, and oil pastels, or camera, wood, feathers, shells, fabrics and various wools. On more than one occasion the freedom of my computer has served as the final canvas for divine intuitive enhancement. Just so you know… I do have a diabolical plan, which is to spread joyousness, humour, lightness, fun and love into the world by channeling personal energy and intention into all my artistic expressions. My sincere desire is that my art will have an uplifting and memorable effect on the body, mind, and soul of others, as much as it does for myself.

D'Accord D'Accord! is a world music duo based out of Berlin, Germany and consists of Sarah Renner (violin, voice, percussion) and Felina Gossmann (cello, voice, percussion), both of German origin. Formed in 2011, they've been performing to the delight of audiences in several countries including Germany, Canada, France, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. Their extensive treasury of music includes Yiddish songs, Swing, tango, folk songs from Eastern Europe, and even some modern pop interpreted in their own unique style.
