With influences that draw from country, roots-rock and Indigenous traditions, Napoleon is a riveting performer who shares powerful songs, down-to-earth wit and a trickster’s charm. Whether he is telling a story or singing about a life experience, he manages to be both irreverent and deeply spiritual. This former Chief has been featured on many radio and TV programs including Zed TV, Dead Dog Comedy, CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Roundup, Cree for Kids, Beyond Words, The New Canoe and many others. Art Napoleon performs vocals, guitar, harmonica, foot-drum and hand-drums. He is a seasoned solo artist but is sometimes joined by various guest musicians. He has been featured on many radio and TV programs including Zed TV, Dead Dog Comedy, CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Roundup, Cree for Kids, Beyond Words, The New Canoe and many others. Art's latest CD Miyoskamin, released in April 2006 has been getting rave reviews in Western Canada and has been nominated for a 2006 Western Canadian Music Award.
