Trained at Banff School of Fine Arts and University of Victoria, Theo Dombrowski is exhibiting and selling paintings, including originals of landscapes appearing as illustrations in his five "Secret Beaches" guide books to Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands.
Every penny of profit from his work goes to Doctors Without Borders/MSF, currently for emergency relief in Syria. Feature articles about his work appear not just in the Doctors Without Borders national newsletter, but also in "Just For Canadian Doctors" and, locally, Oasis Magazine.
Also on sale will be a selection of paintings for and by the "Children of Chukumuk", a Mayan village in Guatemala devastated by a landslide. Theo Dombrowski worked with Aldea Maya in an art project and has brought with him unique, Guatemala-themed paintings by the children of the village.
