Art Drive For Hospice

Ever bought a piece of art only to bring it home and find it doesn’t fit, been given a gift of art that just wasn’t as beautiful to you as it was to the giver or have a piece of artwork sitting in the attic? If so, you can help the Victoria Hospice.

Donate art of any kind to the new Victoria Hospice Art Drive. Artwork donations will be accepted Saturday 20 at Accent Inn (Blanshard at Quadra) or special arrangements can be made for pick-up by calling 250-412-5094 or visiting artdrive.ca. The donated artwork will be made available for sale for one day only on February 27 from 10am to 4pm at the Leonardo DaVinci Hall, 1955 Bay Street from 9am-4pm.

The innovative fundraiser that will see one person’s art become another person’s treasure is an initiative of the Victoria members of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller.

The Order has been in existence worldwide since the 11th century and active in Victoria since 1995 with a focus on providing support to the Hospice and organizations that help with homeless issues.
