Art Atelier 546 is a brand new art gallery down town Victoria! We are thrilled to annouce Jackie Hildering will be speaking about her work in ocean conservation, whale research and exhibiting her stunning photography.
Jackie Hildering is “The Marine Detective” - a biology teacher, cold-water diver and whale researcher living on NE Vancouver Island.She strives for her photos to increase awareness and connection to the mystery, fragility and wonder hidden in our cold, dark, life-sustaining seas. Recent on-camera experience includes being featured on Animal Planet’s “Wild Obsession” series and in the BBC production “New threat to Canada’s Pacific humpback whales?”
