Ballenas Secondary Grad class parent's group is fundraising for the prom/dry grad 2013 in June.

We are looking for vendors to sell Antiques, Collectables, Country / Vintage crafts and people who would like to come out and browse for that special item. Table rentals are $35. You can call me at 951-0810 or email [email protected] if you would like to have a table. If you know of others who might be interested, please forward this info to them. There will be plenty of time for setup. There will be 50/50 draws regularly from 10-3, a raffle, and a concession. There will also be a showcase on the stage, of music industry memorabilia, with RCA Victor items, two small gramophones (which can be played during the event), for people to browse.

This is a large hall and has the potential for 45 tables. The event will be well-advertised; posters are up now in Qualicum, Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Coombs and Errington. More will be going up in Nanaimo soon. We are not able to afford advertising in the want ads, but will have it in the coming events section of the papers from Nanaimo and Parksville / Qualicum. It is also in a twice weekly column in the Parkville News newspaper in the Ballenas Announcements, Coffee News, McGuffy's, Harbour Living and there will be more. We will have sandwich boards out front on the day of, to announce the sale and also at an event at Nanoose Place previous to this one.

I hope you will choose to take part in this event to support our grad class event. I'm sure it will be a fun day and hopefully successful for vendors!
