ANNUAL WOODGROVE SCAVENGER HUNT! “BC has the worst poverty rate of any province in Canada. As household income is one of the strongest predictors of whether parents hire tutors, the cost of tutoring prevents many parents from hiring tutors. We know that tutoring can help students overcome the anxiety often encountered in classrooms where rewards are based on performance.
Similar gains are also made by at-risk students, who show improvements in behaviour and self-control.” Amber Scotchburn, Owner/Founder of TUTORING…WITH A TWIST. Our solution to these facts is our Give & Get Program! It is a charitable program that provides financial assistance to those in our community who wish to participate in Tutoring...With A Twist services. We are raising awareness of the Give & Get program via a SCAVENGER HUNT in WOODGROVE MALL! Clues will be given through social media channels, as well as at locations! Prizes are very generously being donated by Woodgrove Mall Store Owners. This is an all ages event! You can do it as a team or individually! It would be most ideal if you had a smart phone and a sense of adventure for the event! It will end at food court where fellow hunters will gather and be awarded their prizes!
There will be T-SHIRT'S for the first 50 pre-registered particpants!
