Children who love to sing can make the most of their vocal talents as members of The Victoria Children’s Choir.
The award-winning group, established in 2001, provides choristers in the Concert, Recital, and (new non-auditioned) Prelude ensembles with: - progressive, tailored instruction in music history, theory, and vocal technique for singing solo and in harmony; - appreciation for a variety of music, from classical masterpieces to contemporary arrangements that spans decades, languages, and genres; - performance opportunities to share their music with families, friends, and the public at annual signature concerts and at special professional and community appearances; - exceptional experiences at camps, events, weekly rehearsals, and on tours that improve self-confidence and social skills.
In the Victoria Children’s Choir, singing is an exciting, challenging, and fun pursuit. Do you know a young singer who is enthusiastic about making music? A few spots are available for new choristers, ages seven and older, to join the Victoria Children's Choir in 2016-17.
