The Nanaimo Addiction Foundation AGM

The Foundation has identified a recipient for it's 2010 funding allocation directed to Youth Programming and the successful organization will be present to receive the funds requested and to share information about the program to be funded.

Each year the Foundation determines a new funding allocation focus and to learn what areas of funding will be a priority for the 2011-12 year, please attend..It is important for Agencies to attend the AGM and become Foundation members (only $10 annually for non-profits, individuals and families). Membership entitles non-profits to submit funding applications and allows everyone to vote at the AGM.

Non-profit organizations offering services relative to addiction education, recovery and treatment will be given the opportunity to meet with the Foundation trustees, ask questions and voice their concerns and priorities. The Trustees make their funding priority decisions by responding to the needs of the region Nanaimo Regional District. Please visit with Trustees and share your perspectives.

The announcement of our November 2011 Community Conference will take place, outlining the exciting multi-day list of events and speakers.
