Andrea’s been playing music for a long time, from rock and roll bar bands to jazz quartets and big bands. She wrote some songs that attracted some great players and producers and has since shared the stage and studio with many of them. She studied the art of songwriting with Shari Ulrich, Mae Moore and Ron Hynes and has independently produced three albums of original material. Her songwriting is a soulful blend of southern fried blues, jazz and country rock.

Andrea was born and raised in BC’s Kamloops/Shuswap region. She has had a few careers as a guide outfitter and farrier, a registered massage therapist and a music teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in 2011.
She has received a total of eight Vancouver Island Music Award nominations. In 2014 her album “Transition” received two nominations and her music video “Moonlight Shine” was nominated for video of the year. In 2007 she won Female Songwriter of the Year. Her album “Sweet Embrace” also took home Producer (Pat Coleman) and Engineer (Rick Salt) of the Year.
In 2005 She won first place in the songwriting category at the Shuswap International Writers Festival.
With a radio campaign in the fall of 2014, her music is heard and requested on radio stations across Canada
