Anahareo, an indigenous woman convinces Archie Belaney [Grey Owl] to teach her the traditional ways of the wilderness which she hasn’t had a chance to learn. She persuades him to give up trapping, pursue his writing and save the beaver from extinction. In the process, she finds her power and her own story. www.theatreone.org

At the end of each workshop, a public reading of the playwright’s work is presented to an audience, whose valuable feedback is the final contribution to the creative process.
