TheatreOne’s Emerging Voices Series creates space for playwrights to collaborate with theatre-makers on new scripts at various stages of development. At the end of each workshop, a public reading of the playwright’s work is presented to an audience, whose valuable feedback is the final contribution to the creative process.

As an established theatre company in the heart of Nanaimo, TheatreOne offers mid-island audiences live performances and independent film experiences that entertain, inspire, and challenge hearts and minds through the power of illuminating and insightful narratives.

Emerging Voices is generously supported by Sitka Wealth Management and the City of Nanaimo.
