An Evening with Timothy Christian and Tamara Goranson

Timothy Christian read Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast in the cafes of Aix-en-Provence when he was a young man studying French. Realizing that no one had written deeply about Mary Welsh Hemingway, he began researching her story–and discovered a woman vital to Hemingway’s art. The resulting book is Hemingway’s Widow.
Tamara Goranson’s three works of historical fiction offer revisionist retellings of early Vikings to travel and settlement in North America. Her debut novel, The Voyage of Freydis was a Canadian bestseller, her second novel is The Flight of Anja, and the final book in the Vinland Viking series, The Oath of Bjorn, will be published in 2023.
