John Vaillant will join us to read from and discuss his latest book, Fire Weather: The Making of a Beast, his account of the colossal wildfire in Fort McMurray and the rapidly changing relationship between fire and humankind.
The reading takes place Friday, December 1, at the Shoal Centre in Sidney, 10030 Resthaven Drive, at 7 pm. (Doors open at 6:30). Tickets for this event are $15 at Tanner’s Books (cash only) or online: www.eventbrite.c
