An Evening Out with three generations of "The Mallons"

Port Alberni - Portal Players Dramatic Society and helloalberni.com are pleased to announce the return of "An Evening Out", a night of live music and chats, on Saturday, October 19, at The Capitol Theatre in Port Alberni. This time the event features three generations of the Mallon family, well-known local musicians. Patriarch Hank is joined on stage by son Mike and grandson Carson. This event benefits a local organization, and the Mallon's have chosen Ty Watson House and the Alberni Hospice Society to receive a portion of funds raised.

Host Peter Wienold will be joined on stage by co-host Denis Levasseur to chat with the Mallon family about how their musical journey began, and where it has taken them. The evening will be full of performances as well, and include a special appearance by blues band Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners.

"An Evening Out" is sponsored by The Graphics Factory, with tickets available now from The Capitol Theatre box office. Online ticket purchases are available now through a link on www.atthecapitol.org. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, with partial proceeds going to Ty Watson House. Doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 8 pm on Saturday, October 19 at The Capitol Theatre.
