Matt Rader of Cumberland has published three books of poetry and has had fiction, non-fiction and poetry published in numerous journals and anthologies. His work has been nominated for various awards. Of his latest book, A Doctor Pedalled her Bicycle Over the River Arno, Elizabeth Bachinsky says, "No one writes about the history of our natural world with the grace, compassion and rage of Matt Rader.�
Arleen Par� won the Victoria Butler Book Prize for Paper Trail in 2008. Her second book, Leaving Now was described by Lorna Crozier as � an unsettling, tender lyric, beautifully written in a mixture of poems, prose fragments and fairytales, a story like no other�a splendid, unique contribution to our country�s literature.�
Judy LeBlanc lives in Fanny Bay and has had stories published in a number of journals. In 2013 she won the Antigonish Review�s short story contest and was also longlisted for the CBC short story contest.
Doors open at 6:30. Come early. Refreshments available.
