Amnesty International Human Rights Film Festival

Now in its ninth year, the Amnesty International Human Rights Film Festival never fails to inspire, inflame and inform. This year we take on the poisonous tarsands, Peruvian gold mine corporate harrassment and the egregiously irresponsible side of industrial privatisation across the globe.
No fear, there is also good news: grassroots actions can significantly change social, political and economic structures. Women in Liberia bring their dictator back to peace negotiations and usher in a new president; Iranians use cell phones and social networks to inform the world of their need for change; and musicians continue to inform and inspire change, regardless of career risk and mainstream censure.
Join us for three days of intriguing films and panel discussions!
