Miles Black is a very versatile, inspiring and creative jazz man.It is always a pleasure to bring him to town to play for people.He is in the top of his game with recording and producing records for musicians. He is also the kindest man you'll ever meet.
Miles was inspired at an early age with Allison Piano and some of the memorable people that played concerts and did workshops at our store on Government St.He was 16 for the Ray Brown session and never looked back. He bought his first 'Real' book out the back door... Miles plays piano with the artistry of Bill Evans and a spirit of genius that is all his own. He captivates his audience with the tune such that you can hear them sigh. His shows are always memorable and fulfilling. We go home satisfied.
