Alli Sunshine and The Blue Sparrows return to the Queen's Hotel after releasing their debut, The Muse E.P, in December of 2010. Combined with the powerful guitar work of Tristan Armstrong, the jazz funk informed bass of Marisha Devoin, the hip hop/folk influence drumming style of Ian Montgomery and Sunshine's pastoral keys and pure, clear voice, Alli Sunshine and The Blue Sparrows are one of Vancouver Island's most promising acts. This young talented four piece delivers colourful tunes bearing the influence of classic touchstones, yet a fresh approach on their own. Described by Sunshine herself as "Wilco meets Carole King meets Jenny Lewis", this quartet will surely not disappoint.

Opening for Alli Sunshine and The Blue Sparrows will be Duncan native Trevor Davies fresh off his C.D release loop for his 100% locally produced album "Vanity Press". Trevor will be accompanied by Phill Albert on bass and Dave Klasen on Drums.

Shows starts at 10pm. $5 at the door.
