This concert will be a celebration of music and affairs of the heart. You will be enchanted by Faure’s beautiful Cantique de Jean Racine and captured by the joy of Finzi’s My Spirit Sang All Day. Londonderry Air by Percy Grainger will transport you to the emerald rolling hills of Ireland.
Our theme song, the madrigal entitled All Ye Who Musik Love, will have you smiling because it is just plain fun! This is a program that exemplifies the power of music in song and dance, in praise and in love.
Your toes will be tapping with It Don’t Mean a Thing if it Ain’t Got that Swing and we are sure you will want to sing along with Can’t Buy Me Love and California Dreamin’. Enjoy a drink of your choice (cash bar available) and visit with us before the concert begins. Intermission will be an opportunity for you to visit some more, refresh your drink and enjoy a snack before the second half of the program.
