Alick Mac is rapper, singer and songwriter from the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Alick’s style is defined by his honest, vulnerable lyricism. His music often engages in heavy subject matter, evidenced by his award winning single “Easier to Shout” which tackles masculinity. Alick's 2024 releases “Doormat” and "Self-Talk" also demonstrate his singing prowess and knack for writing catchy hooks. Alick has also proven himself to be a savvy storyteller, evidenced by his 2022 Christmas track "Maybe Next Year” which takes on the perspective of two individuals missing their loved ones over the holiday season. The lyric video for the track has garnered over 60,000 views and nearly 1,000 likes on his official YouTube page.

In 2024 Alick finished 2nd place in the Music In Motion Canada awards. As a result, he was awarded the opportunity to perform at "Lilla By Festivalen", a music festival/showcase in the south of Sweden in June 2025. Alick also featured in Cashbox Canada magazine as a prize for his runner-up status. In the feature, Alick was described as "definitely one to watch as his career grows and gets more attention" . Prior to his MiMc success, he also won a competition to perform at Sweet Escape Fest in Regina, headlined by renowned rappers Polo G, Fat Joe and Merkules. Alick's other accolades include finishing as a runner up in the 2024 Shipyards Got Talent competition in North Vancouver and winning the "Wow Moment" award at the 2024 Zattzoo Project Battle of the Bands in Port Alberni.
