Alick Mac is rapper, singer and songwriter from the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Alick’s style is defined by his honest, vulnerable lyricism. His music often engages in heavy subject matter, evidenced by his 2022 song “Easier to Shout” which tackles masculinity. Alick’s 2024 release “Self-Talk” also demonstrates his singing prowess and knack for writing catchy hooks. In 2024, Alick won a competition to perform at Sweet Escape Fest in Regina, headlined by rappers Polo G, Fat Joe and Merkules. He also finished in the top 3 at the “Shipyards Got Talent” competition in Vancouver competing against 22 solo artists. Phoenix Gates is a self-taught musician, rapper, singer, beatmaker and producer. With the exception of mixing and mastering, he created his debut album "Infinite" entirely on his own. With influences such as Juice Wrld, Post Malone and Kurt Cobain, Phoenix's music showcases the massive beats of hip-hop, melded with subtle hints of rock influences from his childhood.
