Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) is one the newest Port Alberni sports. Come and check out this year's Downwind Challenge where participants race with the wind at their backs creating excellent gliding. Better yet, enter yourself in the race at https://secure.eventsonline.ca/events/acdc/.
There will be plenty to do at the beach as a spectator too.
