Ah, Venice are eight passionate and talented musicians from Nanaimo, BC. Despite the number of people involved they conjure a wickedly delicate sound reminiscent of The Acorn, Dawes, or Field Report; but beneath this brooding calm lies a driving energy waiting to explode, a tone more readily likened to Spoon, Sloan, or Iggy Pop. Two drummers? That's crazy. No, actually it fills out Ah, Venice's introverted and dynamic sound delightfully.
