add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
As one of the acoustic world’s top-ranked mandolin players and composers, veteran artist John Reischman is renowned for his exquisite taste, tone and impeccable musicianship. His mastery of the mandolin is showcased in the powerful bluegrass band John Reischman and the Jaybirds. Joining John in the Jaybirds are four acoustic players renowned in their own right: Jim Nunally, guitarist, vocalist, composer and producer from the San Francisco Bay Area; Trisha Gagnon on bass and vocals from Chilliwack; Nick Hornbuckle, from Nanaimo, on 5-string banjo; and from Spokane, Greg Spatz on fiddle.
This concert is being held to raise money for the Cowichan Folk Guild who will use the proceeds to continue on with their mission of bringing live music to the Cowichan Valley through their monthly coffeehouses, and the Islands Folk Festival which takes place in July. Please come and enjoy an afternoon of great music. We really do appreciate your support!
