You could call Adam Hill a singer-songwriter and a guitar picker, but it's not that simple. Depending on the day of the week, he might be composing a classical score (the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has presented his music) or tweaking samples on his laptop at electronic music festivals. As a bass player, he has performed rock and roll, jazz, and bluegrass at venues across North America. But his earliest days found him submersed in folk and roots music, and his roots are all about storytelling.
