"Acrylic Painting Workshop Series with Carole Finn"
Welcome to a personalized artistic journey! This workshop series offers one-on-one guidance, helping you explore the use of paints to achieve various effects in any style. With individualized attention, you'll not only refine your painting skills but also deepen your artistic expression.
Using acrylics as our main medium (though oils are welcome), you'll receive a comprehensive "Introduction" package after registering, detailing all you need to bring. Our in-studio setting encourages you to complete a painting based on your chosen reference, be it narrative or abstract, capturing your unique ideas.
In this warm and supportive environment, you'll explore art fundamentals like value, composition, and color. A key focus will be on the technical aspects of color mixing–first achieving the right value, then adjusting the color to match your vision. By perfecting your color matches, you'll learn to identify color biases and how to use them effectively in your paintings. We'll also integrate digital tools into your process, ensuring a well-rounded experience. Plus, you’ll continue painting between sessions, fostering your growth.
The fee of $120 per person includes your admission to ALL THREE classes in this workshop series on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 1pm-3:30pm
Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 1pm-3:30pm
Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 1pm-3:30pm
