This is an opportunity to try a unique approach to painting in acrylic. From the use of one large brush to discovering the versatility of a very limited palette, you will be immersed in the techniques that Nicholas Pearce has developed over his 30 years of painting.

Location:
Painter�s Lodge in Campbell River (3 hours north of Victoria)

Price:
$229 per person, including two nights accommodation, based on double occupancy.

Skill Level:
This class is ideal for intermediate to advanced painters who want to try different techniques in acrylic paint, but is open to all levels of painters who want a new artistic challenge.

Nicholas Pearce is a Painter at Painter�s artist and has been painting dynamic and sensual images of women for the last 30 years. His painting career started after moving to Victoria from Calgary, where he was an illustrator for CBC TV and illustrations editor for the Calgary Herald. For the past ten years, he has taught classes and workshops in his acrylic techniques. He has been the �Artist in Residence� at the Fairmont Empress from March until August 2011 and his paintings are in collections both here and abroad.
