Acclaimed for bringing “rock energy” to “country audiences”, Aaron Pritchett continues to hold the title of one of the most sought after artists in the business. His passion and intensity for his art overflows on stage and spills into his unwavering dedication to his fans. Growing up in small-town Northern BC, Aaron drew his earliest musical influences from 80’s Rock, but the transition to country music came naturally, “it was based on being able to relate to the stories that country songs told. Those stories were a lot like mine. I was going fishing, camping, and riding buses to hockey tournaments in even smaller towns than my own, life was a lot more country than rock and roll. That feeling resonated with me and I strive to convey that in my music today” Still there is no doubt that his rock roots have had a major influence on his sound with hits such as the classic’s “Big Wheel”, “Hold My Beer” and “Let’s Get Rowdy” to his latest “Boat on the Water”, “Hold You Like My Whiskey” and “Wake You With A Kiss”. Following on the heels of a cross Canada tour and release of a Greatest Hits package in 2015, 2016 will see the release of a much anticipated new original album from Aaron. The first single “Dirt Road In ‘Em” is already at country radio – expect the album early Summer!

Luke Blu Guthrie Band

Hingley’s new project is one of the most exciting and highly anticipated unions in the Comox Valley live music scene. The duo first began to play together at a blues club in the Valley and after only a few gigs together, further collaboration was inevitable. The duo combines Luke’s signature rhythmic blues and roots sound combined with the country and folk influence from K.C. The sound together mixes influences and rhythms and creates a distinctly West Coast back woods sound with searing slide guitar licks and strong vocals and harmonies. Luke Blu Guthrie is an Independent Rhythm and Blues artist that electrifies audiences with an alternative Roots Beat. LBG produces a large sound that is built on slide guitar, finger picking, strong vocals and a unique foot percussion setup. Armed with acoustic & electric guitars, assorted foot percussion and plenty of rhythmic slaps and yowls, Guthrie has lived and worked in the Western Canadian music scene for over fifteen years. Named one of CBC’s independent artists to watch in 2011, and nominated for Male Songwriter of the year at the VIMA’s in 2012, and Roots Album of the Year in 2013, Luke Blu Guthrie is a growing presence in independent Canadian music with four independently released “live off the floor “albums. The 2013 release of Oil and Water, saw the band’s fan base explode with tours through several Canadian provinces and standout performances at a number of B.C festivals.
