Have you ever wanted to read the diary of a wealthy Victorian? Join Ross Bay Villa Society President Simone Vogel Horridge as she delves into the social and political history of early Victoria through the eyes and ears of the English born politician and entrepreneur, Edgar Crow Baker. Intimate, frank and highly entertaining, E.C Baker’s diaries provide a wellspring of over twenty years of reflections on life in the young capital and province in the last quarter of the 19th century. This virtual Zoom lecture will take place on March 17th at 7:30PM.
Tickets are by donation and must be reserved ahead of time at https://tinyurl.com/3cnpp59a.
