WELCOME TO:  "A Ukulele For Christmas"  Charity Concert sponsored by the Nanaimo Ukulele Circle for the Loaves and Fishes food bank.  

At Bowen Clubhouse! With the Vancouver Island Ukulele Orchestra of Nanaimo and Parksville, and the award-winning
Jazzalele Duo (Steve "Swingman" Sutton on double bass, and Anna Lyman on ukulele and voice. 

ADMISSION BY FOOD: 2 cans of tuna, OR 2 cans of salmon, OR 2 jars of peanut butter, OR 4 cans of soup! Sponsored by the Nanaimo Ukulele Circle and the Vancouver Island Ukulele Orchestra!  

You'll enjoy a lovely concert of holiday standards, beautifully played and sung. There is nothing "corny" about a well-played ukulele! Anna Lyman, B.Mus., studied ukulele in Hawaii with Don Ho's ukulele and guitar player! She performs live on professional stages across the island, has appeared a Jazz festivals and numerous corporate events, and teaches and gives workshops. She is the creator and director of the Vancouver Island Ukulele Orchestra.
