A Tribute to the Great War in Songs and Stories
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Come join us for a trip through the story of the First World War told through song and first-hand accounts! The music of the war was integral in upholding morale, re-enforcing national identity, and expressing loss and longing. Many of the hit songs of the period are with us today and are just as hummable now as 100 years ago.
This up-tempo production features live music and narration, and the opportunity to sing along to such unforgettable songs as “It’s a Long, Long Way to Tipperary,” “You Made Me Love You”, “ Good-byeeee,” “Keep the Home Fires Burning,” “How ‘Ya Gonna Keep ‘Em Down on the Farm” and many more.
Tickets are $12 plus GST and can be purchased online or by contacting [email protected] or 250-385-4222 ext. 112
