The Cowichan Camerata, a not for profit string orchestra founded and directed by professional violinist, composer and teacher Garth Williams, is celebrating a decade of music making in the community.
Get in tune with Spring by coming out and listening to A Stringtime Celebration, a concert featuring Bach's well known baroque masterpiece the Brandenburg Concerto #3 and Holst's gem, the Seven Scottish Airs.
Also included on the program are contemporary favourites like Ashokan Farewell and the Beatles' Yesterday, plus movie & show music from Anne of Green Gables, Game of Thrones, Disney and Les Miserables. Share in the celebration after the concert mingling with musicians over refreshments provided by the orchestra.
