The Cowichan Camerata String Orchestra, a non-profit society of amateur musicians conducted by Chris Redsell Music Director present a spring concert featuring special guest Elisabeth Jahren, music arranger and accordion player.
The program invites listeners to journey through more then four hundred years of music composition hearing favourite classical short works of Purcell, Handel, Mozart, Bizet, Grieg and Dvorak. Also on the program are a couple of popular songs of Hoagie Carmichael and Nicholas Brodzsky plus a 21st century contemplative transcending work of Max Richter.
