A Splash of Fun at the Nanaimo Museum during Marine Festival!

The Nanaimo Museum celebrates Bathtub Weekend with special boat building workshops designed specifically for children. These workshops will provide a hands on experience building unique miniature boats and a chance to interact with other children through friendly competition in the Nanaimo Museum Regatta. The workshops run from 11am to 2pm with the race at 1:30pm on Commercial Street. Register at the museum or contact Daleena Sigglekow at 250.753.1821.
Thursday - Build a motorized rowboat.
Friday - Build a catamaran using pop bottles.
Saturday - Build a wooden sailboat.
