Small gestures can have a big impact for someone in need.

�A Small Gesture� is the first annual fundraiser, organized by Katherine Moore and Carole Reid, with the goal of supporting both the donating artist and the person in need. The first show is focused on someone very close to Carole that is in need of some extra help, her daughter Lisa.
�
The idea came about after a conversation about Lisa beginning more chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin�s Lymphoma. Not only are the treatments emotionally and physically draining for Lisa and her family but there are many additional costs to fighting cancer that are not covered by BC Medical. As a young family living on a single income, Lisa, her spouse and their baby girl, could use a small gesture of kindness.

Our goal with �A Small Gesture� is to have a show, sale, and fundraiser that is a 50/50 split with the artists, in other words, half of the selling price of the art piece will go to the artist while the other half will go to the Reid/Scheck family.
