Lois Lane will be rocking this weekend as Mambo's Pizza celebrates 20 years of operation at their Victoria Crescent location in downtown Nanaimo. Mambo's is inviting everyone to to this all-ages show which features ska, hip-hop, folk, country and flamenco music. Join them in a celebration on Saturday, August 16th from 8 to 10pm in the Lois Lane courtyard which is just off the entrance to the China Steps. Mambo's owner Marc Fillion "decided to host the party on Lois Lane and the China Steps to show everyone just how far the neighbourhood has come".

This non-ticked event is hoping to collect $1,000 in donations and will be selling 150 Mambo Pizza 20th Anniversary tee-shirts with all proceeds being donated to the Vancouver Island Crisis Society (VICS). So head downtown and enjoy a "slice of life" while supporting the VICS.
