Come experience the HMCS ALBERNI Museum and Memorial’s (HAMM’s) summer exhibit A SAILOR’S SKETCHBOOK now showing in the main corridor of the museum in the Courtenay Mall at 625 Cliffe Avenue, Downtown Courtenay. 

On display are examples of war correspondent illustrations, propaganda and training posters of the First and Second World Wars, examples of trench art, fun doodles, and learn about maritime tattoos. Admission is free but donations gladly accepted. 

Summer hours (June 1-August 31) Monday – Saturday 10-5. 

Winter hours (September 1 – May 31) Tuesday – Saturday 10-4.
