The Cowichan Consort Orchestra opens its 25th Season in our Valley with a Night of Russian Music. Eight Russian Folk Songs by Liadov, Great Gate of Kiev by Mussorgsky and Borodin's famous Second Symphony are on the program. Robert Mari conducts music of his heritage and begins his 5th Season with the Consort orchestra. He is our 4th Conductor since our inception in 1991. Intermission includes free snacks and coffee and tea.
