A Deep, Poetic Journey Into Something by Forrest Musselman (produced by special arrangement with Theatrefolk, theatrefolk.com) features VIU students as cast and crew. The story is about Jane, who wants to break out of her box. Colour cows green and the sky purple. She wants a deep poetic journey into something. The problem is she has no idea where to start. As events spiral out of control around her, that box is looking better all the time. Will Jane choose to hide inside or change her life?

In the Inclusive Theatre Collective (Hooray!), otherwise known as ITCH , VIU students, friends and community members take part in free sessions that focus on the process of play development and production. Arts-based programming helps people establish strong social networks and healthy relationships and getting involved with an artistic process improves stress management, builds resiliency, and supports physical and mental/emotional wellness.

Enriching arts experiences provide experiential learning that inspires intercultural respect, self-expression, collegiality, and a sense of belonging. Plus, it's fun!

All are welcome to attend our year-end performances, free entry.
