"A BRUSH WITH SPRING" Art Show

The Nanaimo Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) presents “A Brush with Spring.” This fine art show, hosted at the Dorchester Hotel starts May 29th, and will feature the best works of selected Vancouver Island painters. Exhibiting artists have gone through a rigorous two-tiered jurying process and only the finest paintings have qualified for the show.

The exhibition is part of the FCA’s mission to advance knowledge and appreciation of art for Canadians through education, exhibitions, and the promotion of emerging and professional artists. The FCA is home to many local and internationally recognized artists. The Show opens Friday, May 29, at 1:00 pm at the Best Western Dorchester Hotel, 70 Church Street, Nanaimo, Harbour Room.

The opening ceremony and awards presentation are from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Saturday hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday hours are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
