Nanaimo�s Neck Point Park Goes to the Dogs

Nanaimo, British Columbia

The 9th Annual Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog walk will be held on Saturday, 7th September at Finn Beach, Neck Point Park -- just off Hammond Bay Road in Nanaimo. Registration and social activities commence at 11:30 AM with the traditional Parade of Cavaliers through the park starting at 1:00 PM. This is a free event open to all Cavalier Spaniels, their humans, and spectators. It is a party and pet parade that has gone to the dogs!

After assembling and introductions at Finn Beach, adjacent to the main parking lot at Neck Point Park, all dogs participate in a walking tour of the park. There will be opportunities throughout the walk for group and individual photos. Bring along a picnic for yourself and biscuits for the Cavaliers to enjoy before the walk. Stay on for a coffee after the walk and trade �waggy tales�

This has been a fun event during the previous eight years with up to 60 dogs participating. In previous years Cavalier Spaniels came from Campbell River, Courtenay, Port Alberni, Parksville, Nanaimo, Duncan, Ladysmith, Victoria, North Vancouver, New Westminster and Oregon. This year all Cavalier King Charles Spaniels from all over Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland of B.C. and beyond are invited to participate. Happiness is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, so please join us for the 9th Annual Carnival Walk on Saturday, 7th September, 2013.
