FRIDAY APRIL 5 - Doors 530, Show 615 SATURDAY APRIL 6 - Doors 330, Show 4pm

8th Annual Drum Festival hosted by Mike Harrison. This 2 day event is for those who really want to get inspired and rock hard! Locals along with the drummer from PROTEST THE HERO will be performing.

THIS EVENT IS BEING HELD AT THE QUEENS - THIS IS ALL AGES UNTIL 830JPM. THERE IS A KITCHEN WITH GOOD MEALS, APPIES AND MORE! BRING THE KIDS!

FRIDAY Doors 530pm Show at 615pm - Keith Cyr (Pipe Band Drummer) will open for Port Alberni raised Ryan Van Poederooyen who has become a world renown heavy metal drummer, with an insane sense of time and perfect technique. Double bass drum action at it's best!

SATURDAY Doors at 330pm Show at 4pm - Local student Sara Varro will open the show with a drum solo, Followed by local drum educators Brett Attig and Natasha Hoskins. Brett works at Long& McQuade and Natasha is a private contractor, Both Drummers play a huge part in this annual drum event and perform in various local groups.

Mike Michalkow is a international drum instructor from the website Drumeo. He also plays in many groups around Vancouver and Edmonton.

Bobby James is a Electronic Drum and DJ master! He will leave you hanging and completely energized. Then after his clinic the drummer for the world famous Metal Band PROTEST THE HERO will take the stage.

8pm signings - photos stage change over

At 10PM, you can dance the night away until 2AM with Nanaimo's own KORKSCREW - A solid TOP 40 Dance / Rock band featuring the Drum Festival Host Mike Harrison.
