DID YOU KNOW? Three 16 year old cadets from the 89 Pacific Squadron received their glider pilot's license this past summer!

Are you, or someone you know aged 12-16 and looking for a challenge? Would you like to learn how to fly a power plane or glider? Or perhaps develop skills in marksmanship, skiing, survival, leadership, music or even effective speaking.

Stop by the 89 Pacific Squadron for an Open House and learn more about Canada�s top youth programme through displays and demonstrations. Try out our flight simulator! Talk with other cadets and officers.

The Air Cadet programme offers:

� Marksmanship / Skiiing / Biathlon

� Lifetime friendships
� Weekly Monday night meetings

The Cadet Program is the largest federally-sponsored youth program in Canada for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities. Cadets learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership and citizenship, and they are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities.

Cadets are not members of the Canadian Forces, nor are they expected to join the military.
