Join us for an evening of delicious food, fun entertainment, tempting auction items and the opportunity to meet our amazing Afghan refugee family. WES is supporting the dream of a Vancouver Island University student from Afghanistan, the eldest child in a family of seven, to have her family settle in Canada. Her family had to leave their home in Afghanistan and spend three years as refugees in Turkey. They have recently arrived in Nanaimo and we need to raise money to provide for their basic needs during their first year in our community. Contact us for more information and for tickets.
