Part of the Guiding program promotes community awareness and involvement. Our girls aged 9 - 11 have decided they want to raise 1000 toys for the kids who need a smile in our community. The girls have also decided where they would like the toys to go, including the Childrens Ward at NRGH, the Haven Society and the Canuck House. The girls will be promoting the toy drive at their local schools and sports clubs, donations will also be accepted at VI Honda. New or Gently used Toys and Stuffies would be greatly appreciated, our leaders have agreed to make any minor repairs to stuffed animals needing an ear or eye sewn back on. Our Guides are so proud of their decision for their community involvement, please help them reach their goal of 1000 toys. Spread some smiles!!
