4th Annual Save-a-Turkey Trot

OrganicAthlete Victoria and Friends of Animals are excited to present the Fourth Annual Save-A-Turkey Trot on October 5th at 11am.

It's a fun 5km run/trot/walk, out-and-back along the beautiful waterfront trail from Clover Point in Victoria, BC.

Sign-up is from 10:45am to 11am, walkers head out shortly after 11am, and the run begins at 11:20am. It's non-competitive and for fun. The purpose of the event is to encourage people to consider other animals, like turkeys at Thanksgiving. Hopefully we can persuade people to reconsider their choices, and perhaps adopt a vegan diet and outlook.

All are welcome, plus we'll be distributing vegan literature and recipes, all free!

The run is $2, and prizes will be distributed by draw - and lots of prizes as well!
