3rd Annual Toys, Toiletries & Toques Fundraiser

It's that time of year again for the Cowichan Valley Social Media Club's annual fundraiser!

We'll be outside of Walmart on Saturday November 30th between 11:00am and 3:00pm, collecting non-food items to help build the Holiday Hampers for the 5 Food Banks in the Cowichan Region. We'll also have a hot dog sale, with all proceeds being donated to the cause. We'd love to see you come down and make a donation to help with our goal of filling at least 5 SUVs (or more) full of goodies this year! Last year we filled 4, and in 2011 we filled 2 SUVs!

ITEMS IN NEED: Warm Clothing such as toques, mitts, scarves, gloves, socks, slippers. Toiletries and bath items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, bubble bath, toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorant, shaving needs, face cream, lotion. House hold items such as cleaning products, laundry soap, toilet paper, towels, bedding. Pet supplies, food and treats. Gift Cards are a perfect way to donate if you don't know what to buy as they fill a need for teens and adults.

If you donate, you'll also get a chance to win one of several prizes, donated by local business owners!

So come on down, or if you can't make it on the big day, we're accepting donations through the month of November at Speedy Glass Duncan, Moo's Pizza, and Isherwood Body and Fender.
